Trending songs and viral audio clips on TikTok often make the perfect custom phone ringtones and morning alarms. Setting a TikTok sound as your default ringtone is completely free and only takes a couple of minutes.
Step 1: Extract the TikTok Audio as MP3
Before setting the ringtone on your device, you need the standalone high-bitrate audio file. Copy the TikTok video link containing the sound you want and paste it into NovaTik to download the audio track.

Step 2: Setting the Ringtone on Android
On Android, open Settings > Sound & Vibration > Phone Ringtone > Custom Ringtone (or "On this device"). Select the downloaded MP3 from your Downloads folder to apply it immediately.
Step 3: Setting the Ringtone on iPhone
iPhone doesn't let you set an MP3 as a ringtone directly — Apple requires ringtones in its own format, and the free GarageBand app (pre-installed on most iPhones, or free from the App Store) handles the conversion. Import the MP3 into a new GarageBand project, trim the clip to 30 seconds or less using the track editor (Apple's hard limit for ringtones), then tap the down-arrow next to the project name and choose Share > Ringtone. GarageBand exports it directly into your ringtone library — it will now appear under Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Ringtone without any extra file transfer.

Since iOS caps ringtones at 30 seconds, choose the most recognizable hook or drop in the sound rather than the beginning of the track — most viral TikTok sounds are built around one distinctive moment, and that's usually the part worth trimming to.
